It wasn't awesome/amazing or whatever. More like pleasant/quaint. She lost her pet iguana in the house so I asked if she'd want me and CJ to help her look for it. She said yes and told me no one else was home. Funny though, shortly after I arrived her mom and dad come back, then a little after that her 2 kid cousins are dropped off, and her older brother arrive last. She told me her aunt thought I was her boyfriend, I wonder what everyone else thought. So yeah I ended up having to meet her entire family right there. I was introduced informally but next time I hope to really introduce myself to her parents.
Anyways during the search for the lizard we got to talk alot about things. Eventually we took a break and were resting on the couch together. We got to talk even more. Found out some stuff about her like what her favorite cake is, that she doesn't like guacamole, what her bra size is, that she wears 2 different socks all the time, that she doesn't like it when a guy comes on too strong, that she hangs around mostly guys, just stuff like that. Since the other kids were there CJ wasn't bored. One girl, age 5, and her brother, age 3. The cool thing is before she said it would be awkward if it were just me and her together so having the kids drop by was a positive thing. Actually it helped my image too since handling kids is like my strong point, it's like all I ever do is watch over CJ. Later we went out, left CJ with the kids, and had her drive me around in my car. She got a little better. Again more talking but not as much cause I'm too busy freaking out if she's gonna give me a new dent or total my car. Drove to some friends houses and hung out till her mom called her back home. The day ended with us eating dinner together + the kids.
Not a really eventful day but I didn't mind. I just really like that we got to spend the day together. No date, no movie or restaurant, shopping at the mall. Just me and her chilling at her house. I like things simple like that.
So what did both of you do? Was it awkward as you said it was?
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering that as well. Fill us in!
